I work as a therapist for children with special needs in Miami. I can tell you that you will have many more options in the NY/NJ area than you will have here, in terms of schooling, gov't funded therapy, etc. Unless you have Medicaid or private insurance that covers therapy, you will be paying out of pocket for all therapy services.
In terms of schooling, there is Kesher, which I am not familiar with, but they are associated with Hillel, which is good. I can tell you that the PS programs are generally awful. There are some good non-Jewish private for children with autism, but again, the price is hefty.
I'm sorry I couldn't give you a more positive response, but you deserve to make an informed decision for the benefit of your entire family.
