Hi
Thinking of doing a fruit themed MM, maybe fruit juice, banana muffins, fruit ... anyone have a poem that could link it to Purim?
Any other ideas for contents would be great too

These are the fruit MM we did:
1) We did strawberry-Banana one year. (In Hebrew it was Tut Banana)
I found napkins with a strawberry and a banana which I put on the plastic plate. In the MM I put: a banana, a few strawberries, strawberry candies, banana muffins and a strawberry-banana drink.
2) Apple MM
Apple green plastic plate -a big green apple, small apple pie, apple juice and apple candies.

I did a fruit theme once. I wrote this poem, but its kind of dumb:
Purim is here, a day when everyone eats
Pack after pack of unhealthy treats.
But those who are health conscious know to beware
And instead will snack on fruits, like an apple or pear.
Because we all know that fruits are a healthy snack,
And they’re very tasty, there’s nothing they lack.
It’s all those smart people that we aim to please.
Our shalach manos is healthy, its fruits from the trees.
We gave fruit jelly slices, fruit punch, fruit roll up, fruit candy, and sour fruity.

I like the poem but would still try to stick to the theme. Put in healthy stuff like dried apple, apple chips etc.

My friend once did an apple theme & wrote, ``and the Yidden lived appily ever after.``
I once wrote, ``have a berry happy Prim.`` & put inside a container of strawberries, a small blueberry filled cake & a raspberry flavored water.

I did the apple them 3 or 4 years ago where I wrote on apple shaped cards - and apple a day keeps the Dr away put in all apple stuff and wrapped in green cellophane.
I agree to use poem with healthy fruit options
