They are wearing them over Hat Falls the ones with the mesh at the top, or the cris cross elastic. They are not wearing them with "REAL" hair sticking out!

I understand them not covering part of their hair as being shocking.. but pre-ties??? What's wrong with wearing pre-ties?

here in good ol u.k. everyone has been wearing them for a long while, although not the chassidim. they are really comfy, much more than a snood as they arent tight around the head. I agree about hair showing- u do have to be careful as they tend to slip back a little.

OK--very very long, very feathered, dirty blond, overly bleached sheitel standing next to someone with a redheaded sheitel. Now, you can think of David Coverdale standing next to Tawny Kitaen!

So I (a possible MO tourist to BP if I'm ever in the NY area again) where something similar to this on a daily basis, just not so fancy (it actually has the big flower, just it's a more causal fabric), I guess as much of my own hair sticks out too.
