Daily, more often if necessary. Immediately, if it's something so highly putrescible that it cannot remain at room temp. till the morning.

I live in an apartment building so it's a pain for me to take out the garbage, shlepping it into the elevator and carrying the big bag out to the alley on the side of the building. Thank god DH takes care of the garbage! He takes it out every other day or so, and its only me and him.

I told you, I'm the only person in the house, Im not home most of the day, I go away for shabbos alot, I don't cook and I dont eat much while Im here.

Most days once, on many days twice. We always seem to have the most garbage on the block. Our outside cans are always overflowing.
