sunshine, I'll admit that I opened it. but it looked too intense and I have to read it later after I leave work so im sorry. please dont base ur worth on whether or not ppl respond. its happened to me. I know it sucks. u should be proud of ur work!

wow. that was written very well. the poetry complete with the metaphors and the rhyming... it was a very smooth read and very meaningful too.

Sunshine, that poem is amazing! It's a great way to see a life, especially when it seems to end too early. You make me want to post the poem I wrote about my nephew, but I'm trying to get it published so I don't want to post it here.

Very nice!!! It reminds me of Whitman's "O captain my captain" and Tennyson's "Crossing the bar."

I miss your writing. Haven't seen any of it for a while. Then again, I'm rarely online these days, but its great! It does remind me of Captain oh captain.

Funny, I never even heard of "Oh Captain, my captain" until I just googled it. I wrote this poem the night she was niftar, we were all feeling so empty and sad and the inspiration struck. I gave it to her family at the shiva.
