I usually buy a bag of lettuce for the week, however it becomes brown after just a few days.
I've tried putting it into another bag and sealing it tight...but it doesn't help.
Any ideas?

It needs to be really dry. Have you shoved a paper towel in there ?

You can re-vacuum pack it with the reynolds vacuum sealer/bags. It really works

1) Make sure the lettuce is dry.
2) Put paper towels in plastic bag to absorb moisture.
3) Try a product like this: Re-usable produce storage bags They have a coating that removes ethylene gases from inside the bag. They really do work for lettuce, other greens, and broccoli.
