Washing a tallis and using oxy clean

I would be afraid to use such a strong chomer on a delicate item like a tallis.

I tried washing a Wool Tzitzis with Oxy it made it all yellow- I would not recommend washing a talis with oxy.

I used biz and red milk and it came out really clean - soaked for a few days and I had a beautiful white tallis - no yellowing at all!!

Biz is a stain remover/detergent, red milk is generally whole milk.

rub the sains with zout and wash with iron out and detergent

How would one combine the stain remover & whole milk? What's the method of cleaning? Will any stain remover do?

Interesting, cuz I use oxy for tzitzis, makes it white!
Oxy should do the job for tallis too BUT I didnt try it yet (friend did).
