DD will be working as a JC in a Brooklyn Camp. She doesnt know if she should be wearing sneakers, if so what kind, or shoes, if so what kind. Do girls come to Day Camp to work all dressed up in pencil skirts and panty hoses only to be uncomfortable, sweaty and dirty with a bunch of 4 year olds or do they get comfortable in long skirts and dress down? Help me. My DD wants to fit in Right!

Every camp/community is different but I would assume that she should be dressed comfortable to take care of the kids. The parents and head staff will def notice if a girl is dressed to do her job or dressed to impress the other counselors.

I'm in Lakewood (obviously) but here DD wears long skirts (usually the black ones - and then she can wear socks) with her sneakers-All Stars (purple with an orange tongue. Way cool!!)

So how come the only site that carried these "in" Toms, is Toms? Nordstrom has some too, but what about Endless, Zappos- are they just not aware that this is not a new fad?
BTW, this is OP thanking you all.

Can't say - I don't own any but give it a bit of time and everyone will either be carrying it or making copies.
Why not ask the women on the site where they bought theirs?

They already are making copies. They have been out for a year already.
