LOL I think Rivky meant the game Guess who. It's a game for two players, where they choose one person from a bunch of pictures, and the other player has to guess who the other chose by asking whether the person is wearing a hat or glasses, etc. It's a cute game for children.

Chutes & Ladders, Candyland, Sorry, are favorites by us & Guess Who, & this is DS's latest joke:

Guess Who's under the stairs (in the closet)

Most people answer, "Who?" thinking it's a question. He gets such a kick out of it!

Momoftwins, did you just adopt a 5-year old girl and don't know what to do with her, are are you just looking after one for the week??? Smile

My dd just joined a chess club after school. If you are into it you could try that.

(I hate the game, despite my fathers best efforts)

rummikub is also good, but only for age 6.5 up or so.

I believe it's actually called pretty pretty princess. my girls loved it.

finders keepers is also great for little kids 3-6 approx. There's a board with lots of objects - socks, ball, ice cream, umbrella, etc. etc. - and kids pick from a pile of tiny cards that each have one picture that they then try to find on the board. The board itself is like a puzzle, made out of seven big pieces, so each time the game is played it gets put together differently so the pictures are never in the same place. very cute!
