Not even just Simchas Torah works for the name Simcha -- all of Sukkos is referred to as z'man simchaseinu.

Other names:
Asaf (Sukkos is Chag haAsif)
Hallel or Hillel
Itamar (lulav comes from a date tree)

I was going to suggest Dovid as in "succas dovid hanofules" but I guess that violates your ushpezin rule? What about Shlomo, the author of Koheles.

we did something a little different...ds was born last year right before sukkos. we named him Betzalel-it means "in the shade of Hashem" which is exactly what the sukkah is. we got SO many compliments on the meaning.

Beautiful beautiful! [If you are the friend I know IRL - am I remembering correctly that your baby was born around the yamim noraim? - I never knew that that was why you named him Betzalel but I love the idea.]
