What do you serve brisket on? what type of platter. I usually serve it on a round dinner plate but I feel it is weird.. I am referring to for shabbos meals. thanks@

Whatever I have and since I don't have an oblong one, I use a round one  .

I have oblong platters that match my china but if I didn't have them, I would probably use a round plate.

Why would you think serving meat on a round dinner plate is weird? Serving it in a wicker basket is messy, in a halved bowling ball risky, in a doggie dish in questionable taste, in a flower vase inconvenient, in a banana leaf impractical unless you're at a luau, and in a cigar box just plain weird. But a dinner plate?
