I'm interested in going to the bahamas or another island nearby. Anyone have an recommendations? Has anyone taken a cruise from Florida there? Also what do I do about kosher food? What activities do you recommend? We also have a one year old baby. Any tips would be appreciated.

We took EVERYTHING with us food-wise, and were glad we did -- nothing kosher there, and insanely expensive in any case. We went when I was expecting #1 so I can't remember everything we did, but we stayed in Freeport and remember we had a great time at the botanical gardens, went swimmimg with the dolphins, and liked the shopping area. We did a 6-hour cruise from Fort Lauderdale.
