I was at the BERKELEY a few times but with a group or a simcha. It's a very n'ice hotel near the boardwalk they are upgrading the neighborhood. Its in middle of a real rundown town and at the beach so theres nothing near there. You'd have to bring your own food. I do remember ppl there saying they walked like 25 or 45 min down the road along the water to longbranch or deal where there might be aminyan . you'd have to find out.
