Put them in a garbage bag and vacuum.
If it's stained then spot treat

Coat generously with cornstarch, put in a big bag for a day or two, then vacuum thoroughly with an upholstery attachment if you have one. For odors, add baking soda to the starch. For sticky grunge, make a thick lather of soapsuds, work into the grungy part and wipe off with a clean cloth, or use shaving cream instead of soapsuds.
But if you'll take my advice, the better part of valor is to get rid of the dratted things. If they're that dirty/dusty/stained, consider it G-d's way of telling you it's time to give them a decent burial in the landfill. Even if they're adorable. Even if they were gifts of love from your dh to you during your courtship. Take a nice picture of all of them for your album or keepsake box, and send them on to a better place.
