I used to sing the Hebrew months with my kids in school. I did the same for the English months. It's a well known tune, just have to remember a common song it goes to.

Yeah, momof3, I think you are talking about "one little, two little, three little _____" you can fill any word into that space.
It can be a counting song, and then use the tune for the months! Thats the one I know.

naomi shemer had a song but it was all in hebrew, which is probably not what you want.

Tishrei's the time to make us think, teshuva, tefilla & tzadaka
Cheshvan the teivah didn't sink
Kislev 8 days of chanukah
Teves the 10th day is a fast
And now it's tu bshvat at last
Adar the winter's almost past and then it's Purim what a blast (oh oh oh)

Nisan tra-la come sing with me, pesach's the end of slavery
Iyar we count the days and wait
Sivan the Torah sets us straight
Tammuz a sorry tail to tell
And Av the Bais Hamikdash fell
Elul we pray that all is well and then we start the year again.

Easy one, to the tune of "Yankee Doodle":

Nissan, Iyar, Sivan, Tamuz,
Av, Elul, Tishrei,
Marcheshvan, Kislev, Tevet, Shvat,
Adar and Adar Sheini.
