Many women go and love it.

They use mileage or put aside money every month. Some stay with friends to save even more.

The convention isn't taking place within the community, so the only option is staying at the hotel.

I recieved this message and am passing it on:
---------------------------------
Hi there. This is Blumah Wineberg from Kansas City. I would like to send a 'challenge' to your web readership. The information about the upcoming Neshei U'bnos Chabad convention in Kansas City, January 12-14, 2007, was posted recently, with some moms expressing that it was too expensive. The special cost of the weekend $395 includes 2 nights at the Hilton Hotel, all kosher gourmet meals plus wonderful presenters and a Sunday boutique.
(The actual cost to us is closer to $425).
The program is a Spa for the Mind Body and Soul weekend and will iy'H be a wonderful weekend of comraderie and inspiration. Babysitting is available for infants for a nominal fee. This weekend is open to all women.
To make it available to anyone who would like to come, I am making a special offer to your readership - we will accept payment in installments of up to a year!
We also have an opportunity for a mom to work from home for the convention. She can earn her weekend and make some money. For more info on this, please call me personally at 913 940 1113
For more information and to register, please visit us at: www.chabadkc.org/retreat

I am considering taking up that offer, till when do I have to decide, and is there a limit on the amount of people that will be accepted for that offer?

In the other thread, someone asked how many people are signed up so far for the Shabbaton. I believe that there are around 150 signed up at this point.
