what about in very early pregnancy, with really bad morning sickness?

One of my pregnancies I was around 8-9 weeks for YK. I got a psak that I should start fasting but as soon as I feel very weak, or vomit, or feel intense nausea that doesnt go away, I should start eating/drinking in shiurim. Definitely speak to your rabbi.

That was it -- thanks! I followed the carb heavy meal plan before tisha bav (nursing an almost 1 year old) and the fast was tolerable. I dont know if it was the advice in the study or not, but I wanted to read it again so I can use it for Yom Kippur!
