What can you tell me about this hotel, near Me'ah She'arim?

Dh wants to stay in that area for Shabbos so we can walk around, but I really need a very nice hotel. Do you know how nice it is?

it's comfortable & clean but nothing fancy... loved the central location.

It's fine, but not luxurious.

Nice breakfast, Shabbos meals a disappointment and expensive. You might be able to make other plans for Shabbos meals.

Shabbos afternoon may not be as quiet as you like, with unsupervised kids running wild in the halls. But it's a nice place, very haimish and great for weekdays.

Thank you so much!
Dh really wants this location for Shabbos. We figured the hotel wouldn't be too snazzy.
If it's clean (including carpet, mattresses..) we'll be fine.

Are there any better hotels in the area Juicy and jflower?

And jflower, what other arrangements would you recommend for Shabbos meals?

I really appreciate your help you two! Smile

I was there for shabbos. Hotel is far from fancy but like the previos posters said its nice and clean. I ate shabbos meals somewhere on geula by some catered place.

I was there too and I would go back. The location is great, walking distance from Geula. The rooms are clean. The food is a lot better during the week than on Shabbos, but it wasn't terrible.

We stayed in a small apartment in Geula. (bedroom and kitchenette) It was nice because it was private and the location was excellent. I don't remember if we ordered takeout and kept it warm on the hot plate provided or if we ate out at the catering place. Just suggesting another option.

Thanks to everyone for sharing your experiences! It really helps Smile

I don't think we want to rent an apartment just for Thur night through Saturday night.

Ladies, can you help with ideas for meals on Shabbos? Where can we arrange catered meals with a nice ambiance in the area?

TIA!
