Hello, we just arrived in J'lem and will be here for a bit. Want to tour around and find (maybe) where we want to live. Know of Artzeinu and Hoffman. Looking for ideas so we can stre--tch our carefully saved $$.
Want to go to Haifa, down to Negev (Artzeinu says not going due to matsav)
TIA

Want to come to Ariel for Shabbat? Or spend the day here and have a look around?

We live in Ra'anana, very happy there. You're welcome to visit!
Not a tour guide, but perhaps a very helpful resource in terms of figuring out what's where - check out israelkids.co.il. There's lots of great family-related information there.
Behatzlacha!

In Haifa you have the Technion, the Naval Memorial & Museum, including the "Museum of Clandestine Immigration" (such stories as the Exodus and other ships...) You have the Baha'I Gardens. The National Water Carrier, Mekorot, also has a visitor's centre, not far from Haifa I believe. The Carmelit ("subway"). You don't necessarily need a guided tour for those.
