I have a relative who is not from America and wants to learn how to read, and write English, the correct way. Do you know anyone who will give private lessons, or a professional school in the NY area? We are not looking for someone who knows enough and wants a side job. We need a professional with a lot of experience. Thanks a lot.

I know a guy in CH who for years (maybe still does) gave one on one English classes to boys who didn't learn it in school. Maybe he'd be interested. Let me know & I can email him.

Ok. He says he's "retired" from teaching. Sorry. There are classes in the area for ESL. Try the community councils.
