My husband and I need help choosing a boys name that goes well with Dov. Ideally we're looking for the name that implies gift or blessing or something along those lines. Or the name of someone in Tanach who was blessed by G-d in a specific way. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your help

Yaakov - received many brachos. but idk how you feel about the sort of rhyming there - some may love it, some may hate it
Yehuda? more along the lines of thanking Hashem, but you're thanking Him for this blessing  when I was preg with dd, this was our reasoning for planning ion yehuda as our boy's name.
Baruch (and if you need from Tanach, I think he was Yirmiyahu's student?)

HI,
When we were considering a boys' name for thanking hashem some of our choices were: Netanel, Elchanan, Chananel, Azriel, Eliezer, (we also thought of combinations like Chaim Eliezer - Hashem helped me have life or Yosef Baruch - Hashaem should give us many more blessings).
DH likes traditional and common names I preffered a little less common but not exotic or unusual.

natanel, yonatan -- HaShem gave
natan, matan -- give/gave
Dovid, Yehuda -- come from shoresh of hoda'ah (thanks) -- thanks for gifts
baruch - same shoresh as bracha
asher -- happiness
azriel -- HaShem Is my help -- HaShem gives us help and brachos
b'sha'ah tovah

Sholom and Yona and Noam (names of peace)
Meir (he lights up my life), Yakir (he is precious to me)
Efraim and Menashe (because of the blessings they recieved and the way we bless our children to be like them), Yaakov (because of the blessings he recieved)
Aaron (he made peace between people)
Amrom (because he had 3 amazing children and never sinned)

Wow! Thank you all so much for all the great suggestions! You gave my husband and me a lot to think about. We think we're going to go with Azriel Dov, though, so thanks a bunch to Tal and sarlal for suggesting the name
