I am buying a daybed with a trundle for my guest room (first time having an extra room) and I"m not sure how the linen works. I see they sell daybed linen sets which basically is a comforter, some nice pilllows, and a bedskirt so when its made it looks nice. My question is what do I do about sheets and a matching set for the trundle bed? Even these sets dont' come with a sheet. Is there somehow I can buy a matching linen set, plus a matching daybed ensemble?

It doesn't have to be matching. Try getting sheets for the trundle bed that are in the same color zone as the daybed
eg: daybed is grey and black so trundle can be white/grey/black/pink it all matches.
If you really want to match match get some accessories like mini pillows that tie the linen/sets together.
