I have a big extra freezer and a very busy schedule so I like to freeze foods to be used at moments notice. I freeze almost everything for shabbos and cook fish, soup and potato kugel fresh. Everything else comes from the freezer.

I need some good ideas for suppers in advance that can be frozen, even if it’s just side dishes. We are very picky eaters and can detect when something has just been reheated so I usually freeze the stuff raw (like meat patties) and then just bake it out for dinner.

I’m out of ideas, and I’d like to hear some really fresh new tricks. Thank you!

* Take chicken cutlets bread it and inbetween each slice put either baking paper or parchment paper so it shouln't get one frozen lump. You will love it. All you have to do is fry it. ( I have a great recipe for it)

* Also, You can freeze cheese latkes.( Great recipe for this aswell)

* Breaded eggplant for eggplant parmagane.

You freeze the breaded eggplant after you cook it?
When I make tacos I freeze half the meat that was browned with Taco seasoning--instant tacos another day.
Withhumor--what are you're old ideas? They are new to us!

* You bread the eggplant and fry it then, when your ready you can take the eggplant out and just put cheese and tomatoe sauce on it and into the oven!

* Cook bottoms with spices and a lil duck sauce (bbq sauce) when done u can freeze it.

* Lukshin freezes well. It can be a sidee dish when u cook it in tomatoe sauce and sugar!

I f ind we're better off eating simpler but fresh.
