What can I use instead of soy sauce in a stir fry?

I would love to know, too. My dd is allergic to soy.

I have never tried these recipes, but thay may work.

Soy-Free Teriaki Sauce

6 T. honey
2 T. ume plum vinegar
1/2 tsp. toasted sesame oil
1 tsp. minced ginger
2 garlic cloves
1/4 tsp. black pepper

Whisk together in a small bowl.

Yield: 1/2 cup

Soy Sauce Substitute
1 T. ume plum vinegar
1/8 tsp toasted sesame oil

Yield: 1 T. soy-free soy sauce
