I usually give my children a cookie type of snack and a chip type. I decided I'm going to try to make it instead of buying. I don't need help with the cookie one, but the chip one. I already found potato chips in the microwave (didn't try it yet), pretzels, dried apple slices, popcorn, and granola. That's for this week. Can you please help me with more ideas and recipes please? It can't be anything messy or fall aparty.

Instead of chips, will they go for veggie sticks?
If not, you can roast carrot sticks with spices...

How'd you make banana chips? My kids like them and they're not available here.

From here. I forgot about the lemon juice, so they turned a bit brown. Also my oven doesn't get that low, but it still worked.

I love using snacks as an excuse to sneak in fruits and veggies. I send cut up apples, peeled and sectioned oranges (its more likely they'll eat it if it is already peeled,) cut up veggie sticks (celery, carrots, red and green peppers.) or a homemade trail mix with nuts, craisins, chocolate chips.
