MY PARENTS ARE GOING TO ISREAL NEXT WEEK AND I WANT TO PREPARE A CUTE LITTLE BASKET WITH A NICE POEM DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS?? LOL

ok .. something short and cute...

to my dear parents, who have raised me so well,
I wish to show you my thanks, for a job that was swell
so I present this gift basket to you
to enjoy on the ride to the home of the Jew

sudoku to keep your mind occupied
during the 12 hour very long ride
magazines to read, when the puzzles are through
some sleeping pills so you can rest, and wake up feeling new

a tylenol to help you muscles that ache
from sitting in one chair that with the plane will shake
ear plugs to help keep the engine noises down
as you fly over city, ocean and town

a few snacks to eat, during the wait
while they board everyone else at the gate
a pillow to lean on, since you've no bed
because everyone needs a place to put their head

a book or two to read but not aloud
because we do not wish to disrupt the crowd
a packet of cards to play games together
when ever you want, do so at your leisure

a post card or two, some new stationary
so you can write down your thoughts even if they're probationary
a camera to take picture from way up high
so we can see the holy cities, like the birds that fly

I hope you enjoy your vacation
to the land that belongs to our holy nation
wishing you a safe flight over mountains and water
love your very dear and precious daughter
