Anyone know? Not the powder or liquid detergent but the preportioned packets. Dh bought them and I've never used them before so I'm not sure. I've always used the powdered stuff so I have no idea if I should use them and I need to run my dishwasher!!!

don't know for sure but found this from a year ago. So make sure before you use them. I was told my dishwashing detergent didn't need a hasgocha but if there's real treifus that wouldn't be good.

Star-K OFFICIAL STATEMENT:Cascade Action Packs for dishwashers - are coated with gelatin and do not bear an OU. We do not recommend using them. If they were used, the utensils and dishwasher do not need kashering.
