and how long is one expected to wait for a return call? I have been seeing her a few times, so not a new client. She works nine to five, so never answers then, but until about seven, I feel like I have to give her some time to call back. Then later at night, I worry that it might be an inappropriate time to call.... What is the acceptable thing to do?

Why not ask her during your next session when she would prefer a call, or should u call and leave a message so she can call back whenever it's convenient for her.

I guess I could, I just have so much to discuss that I wldnt remember to bring this up. So for example, she hasnt returned my call from yesterday morning. Wld it be inappropriate to call her after nine in the evening? Its not her house, its a cell which she uses as her office line.
