Hi!

Im from out of town, currently living in NY.

I would love to pursue a career as an optometrist.

Has anyone here been to State University of NY- Optometry School?

I haven't been but I know some who are. I doubt they're here (one isn't married). From what I know, it's a 4 year program. Pretty rigorous. I wouldn't say put your life on hold but I assume you have an idea of what you're getting into and aren't a dabbler. And are near an undergrad degree or whatever you need to qualify. I guess also that you're thinking in terms of fall 2013.
