I bought coconut oil because I read that it's healthier. What can I use it in?

You can use it the same way you'd use margarine in baked goods. It's also good for sauteeing.

I use it in place of any recipe that calls for margarine or oil (besides for olive oil). I only have butter, olive oil, and coconut oil in my house.
Bear in mind that the unrefined virgin coconut oil has a coconuty taste that may offend some people - and doesn't work in all recipes. I use expeller pressed refined coconut oil when I'm making something that I don't want to have a coconut taste (challah, baked goods, frying schnitzel, etc).

Go lightly with it in baked goods - it's heavier than both marg and shortening. I use about 3/4 the recommended amount to avoid cakes, etc being too oily.

Thanks everyone. Is it lower calories/fat than margarine & oil or just healthier?

the fats are healthier fats and it's processed in a healthier way (without the aid of chemicals).

I've been watching youtube videos on vegan recipes, and this couple uses it in almost every episode. So I went out and bought some myself. I really want to try these:
Coconut oil is high in saturated fats though.

I wouldn't use coconut oil for frying I would use grapeseed oil because the temprature that coconut oil goes rancid is too low for frying
