What exactly are you looking for in terms of music? Is this dance music or listening music? Assuming it's dance music, what would they like? Pre-recorded horas? Songs that are vaguely Jewish such as "I Got A Feeling"? Artists who happen to be Jewish like Drake, David Lee Roth, Ramones, Beastie Boys, etc? Or do they just want "something Jewish" and assume you can be a first-rate DJ based on that minimal info???

actually the one song that was mentioned was the horah. I will not actually be at the bar mitzvah, just trying to help out. it is for dance music.

There are CD's that are called "simcha music" or the like, and just have instrumental music. They are probably looking for "hava nagila".
If the Bar Mitzvah is on Shabbos, is it OK to give them a CD that you know they will be playing then?
If it's not, then I think Velvel Pasternak has a CD like that, and I'm sure there are others.
