Would someone kindly share the instructions to make Sugat red lentils? The instructions are in Hebrew. I want to make soup. Thank you.

Lentil Soup (I think canadamom posted this recipe)
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 large onion, small dice
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 carrot, small dice
1 celery, small dice
1 potato, small dice
1 cup red lentils
4 cups water
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp lemon juice (optional)
salt and pepper, to taste
Sautee veggies. Add lentils and other ingredients. Bring to a boil and cook on med flame 30 minutes.
I made this recipe several times this winter. If I remember correctly, I added more carrots, celery, and water and cooked it for longer than 30 minutes. It was delicious!!

I make something very similar to greeneyes recipe but I add a bit of chicken soup powder and instead of cumin I use Hawayij (Yemenite soup spice) which already has cumin in it in addition to other spices. I don't use lemon juice. I also add cut up hot dogs towards the end. This is my family's favorite (winter) soup.

There is a really easy, yummy red lentil soup with mushrooms in the green KBD cookbook. You can easily double it and it freezes beautifully. With the addition of tomato paste, it really is a red soup and it always reminds me of Eisav's red lentils !!!
