In order to remain anonymous, I am going to be a little bit vague on the type of position
I have just been hired, due to someone unexpectedly taking a leave of absence, to do programming in an elementary school. I would love to hear from teacher, or parents - as programs or little 'things' their childs school does, that adds to the 'informal education' in the school (from the judaic studies side).
(ex - give out a peice of cardboard around chanukah time to each child and have a 'dreidel' contest - have the children deisgn a unique dreidel using that board as the base and whatever materials they wish. )
Any thoughts, ideas, suggestions are welcome!
In addition, if you know of any blogs or forums online, I would greatly appreciate that.
Thank you!
