All of this Shabbat/Tisha b'Av/pushed off til Sunday is confusing me. I've got mountains of laundry!!

I know, ask my lor. but what is everyone else doing?

I also remember reading somewhere that since it's the 10th of Av, we don't need to wait til chatzot to sit in chairs, etc. But I can't find where I read that. Am I imagining things??

You can do laundry as soon as the fast goes out. The only things you continue to keep after the fast are meat/wine.

Halacha is you can do housework after chatzos. I would guess sorting laundry is housework.

______

There are those who hold that meat and wine are permissible as soon as the fast goes out this year.
Don't know how good for the digestion that is, though......

I did even better. Since I probably won't have the strength to deal with laundry once the fast is over (at 10 pm), I have the machine already loaded with clothes and detergent and all that's left to do tonight is press the button.
Raisin, wow, good luck in getting it done. I think the fast ends even later where you are?

Everywhere we looked it said no meat/wine until tomorrow. For Havdala, it's pref to have a katan up to age 7 drink the wine. If you don't have a katan, the havdala sayer drinks it himself, no help from others.
As far as laundry, haircuts etc we're good to go as soon as the fast is over.

I just looked it up in the kitzur and saw nothing about washing. It says on a nidche that is pushed off from Shabbos to sunday, meat and wine are not allowed on sunday evening and everything is allowed the next morning. I assume that means that I don't have to wait until chatzos on monday to shower or wash laundry, but I do have to wait until the next morning?

There is a footnote that one is allowed to shave or have a haircut the night of a nidche TB but again nothing about washing.

So anyone want to clarify with sources?

This is what Rav Shtern of Elkana posted. He has a beard and wears a white shirt and black pants

Yes! I got confused. Spoke with dh. No meat/wine til tomorrow, but no need to wait for chatzot. I knew there was waiting that I wouldn't have to do. :-)

Thanks, but DH will only accept a psak from a well-known rav that he's heard of and generally agrees with on all issues.
