Can I sort, just to get re-familiarized with the task? Very Happy
I did even better. Since I probably won't have the strength to deal with laundry once the fast is over (at 10 pm), I have the machine already loaded with clothes and detergent and all that's left to do tonight is press the button.
Raisin, wow, good luck in getting it done. I think the fast ends even later where you are?

Wow, good idea. Off to sort and load. We're leaving tomorrow morning at 9:00 (hopefully) to a wedding seven hours away, so no time to waste.

Fast ends here 21:51, not too bad.

the crown heights beis din is famous but if you don't want to go by them, you can certainly wait until chatzos tomorrow for everything. that certainly covers all bases.

I'm pretty sure it's in the MB - get your dh to look it up there.

All of this Shabbat/Tisha b'Av/pushed off til Sunday is confusing me. I've got mountains of laundry!!

I know, ask my lor. but what is everyone else doing?

I also remember reading somewhere that since it's the 10th of Av, we don't need to wait til chatzot to sit in chairs, etc. But I can't find where I read that. Am I imagining things??
I just put my first (of many ) loads in.
Happy laundry doing to all Smile

(as a side not, evie, I just came across something about the lehi in Israel and now understand your avatar, I like it Smile )

Smile My husband is upstairs getting rid of the beard that he sorely hated the entire three weeks (and it got pretty darn big)

Heehee, Shabbatiscoming, thanks! I read a great book called Elnakam by E. Yakhin that was really inspiring.

Nit'ei Gavriel is, AFAIK, neither Litvish nor Chabad, and he cites the Rama.

I'm dreaming of doing laundry. Unfortunately I'm working overnight tonight... so it'll have to wait till I get home tomorrow. It's making me so anxious.
