Any ideas of where to go for a 2 day trip near Lakewood or mountains? We have 2 kids - 20 months and 7 months, so nowhere too child-unfriendly. We prefer rural type neighborhoods and can bring along food. We do need a minyan.

Do a search on imamother for tannersville and hunter. Its a great family friendly area.

What about Lancaster or Harrisburg area?
Can you do stuff in Tannersville area you haven't done before?
I went to Connecticut once with a small baby. Sheffield Island, Train Ride, Gillette castle, beach at night. Very little driving. You would have to find which areas in CT have a minyan.
