It's amazing how no one can change the roll. I even have extra ones in the bathroom. They're up high, but still there. It doesn't help that I always have the cut ones for shabbos in there because if the roll is finished, they just use those. I used to get very upset when they would use those, but I don't cut them anymore Very Happy , my ds does, it's his shabbos job.

Me. Always me. My kids and dh are the same way - it doesn't bother them if it's out. They don't seem to think, "It's out, I should get another from the container sitting right next to me." Wink

I like the toilet paper to come from the top, though, and this way it ensures I get that. So there's silver-ish lining, right?

Of course I do!
What a silly question!
Everyone else conveniently makes sure not to realize the roll's finished!

When the roll is getting low DH changes it and cuts the rest of the roll to use on shabbos.

My 4 year old, loL!!

He tells me (quite often) "Mommy, I saw that there was no more toilet paper so I put on a new roll."

As a side fact, he thinks that you need, like, 1/3 of the roll to wipe your nose, so it's really no wonder why we go through it so fast and why he "happens" to be the one to notice when it's finished! LOL

Whoever finishes it. The kids take care of their own bathroom.

Me, or our cleaning guy --- he leaves a 3/4 finished roll out and puts a new one on.

Yup. Or they leave exactly one square left, and then why throw it out if its not finished??

Usually it is whoever finishes it...unless the person on the loo is in need of some extra whilst still there, then it might just be a joint effort.

If I finish the roll in someone else's house and there's more in an obvious place (like out on a holder, I don't check cupboards) then I'll even replace in other people's houses.

even in the kids bathroom no one bothers to change or tell me when they finished the spare one. which they didn't bother to put on the roll, and then starts the chorus "mommy there's no tissues...."

Me of course. And I often end up taking the garbage out.

I can just hear my mothers voice ringing in my ears 'why am I the only one who needs to be responsible for stuff around here?'

Usually my DH although I will if I notice, usually I'd just reach for the tissues instead embarrassed
