I just bought a big package of fresh spinach. Ive seen a lot of recipes for smoothies using spinach so I gave it a try. It came out pretty good, but needs tweaking.
Does anyone have any good recipes?
I dont like using bananas in smoothies, so any recipes with bananas are out. And I prefer not to use frozen berries often as it gets pricey...
Any ideas? Or any ideas in general how to best use up this spinach in a healthy way?

Try using pears inside. It comes out good.

My DH uses apples in smoothies and almonds. Kinda tastes like charoset.
I think without banana you might need to add a bit of honey for sweetness.
To up protein levels, I use a combo of cottage cheese and yogurt - blend the cottage cheese first for a smooth consistency then add other ingredients. I would experiment with cottage cheese, yogurt, spinach, a drop of honey, and whatever other fruit you have on hand.
Other uses for spinach: I make a spinach pizza sauce - make a roux (butter, flour, milk) add crushed garlic, salt, and spinach. My kids LOVE spanakopita and that uses tons of spinach.

Frozen banana
Frozen pineapple
Unsweetened almond milk- I like the diamond brand.
