Always and Forever - Heatwave

You Make Me Feel Brand New -- Stylistics (Only you came when I needed a friend. Believed in me through thick and thin)

Beginnings -- Chicago (When I'm with you, it doesn't matter where we are or what we're doing, I'm with you that's all that matters)

Color my World -- Chicago

Gd Only Knows -- Beach Boys (I may not always love you, but long as there are stars above you, you never need to doubt it, I'll make you so sure about it)

Can't Help Falling in Love -- Elvis Presley

You've Made Me So Very Happy -- Blood Sweat and Tears (I lost at love before, got mad and closed the door, then you said child, just once more ....)

You've Got a Friend -- James Taylor

It's Getting Better -- Cass Elliot (I don't feel all turned on and starry eyed; I just feel a sweet contentment deep inside; Holding you at night just seems kind of natural and right)

Precious and Few -- clim@x

Follow You Follow Me - Genesis (In your arms, I feel so safe and so secure. Every day is such a perfect day to spend alone with you)

Time in a Bottle -- Jim Croce (If I could save time in a bottle, the first thing that I'd like to do is to save every day 'til eternity passes away just to spend them with you) -- bonus, he was Jewish (a non-Orthodox convert)

For Crying Out Loud -- Meatloaf

In Your Eyes -- Peter Gabriel (In your eyes, I am complete)

I Saw the Light -- Todd Rundgren (And I ran out before, but I won't do it anymore. Can't you see the light in my eyes.)

Moondance -- Van Morrison (When you come my heart will be waiting to make sure that you're never alone. There and then all my dreams will come true dear, there and then I will make you my own.)

Wonderful Tonight -- Eric Clapton

Let's Stay Together - Al Green

Dancing in the Moonlight -- King Harvest

I Only Have Eyes for You -- The Flamingos

You Are So Beautiful -- Joe Cocker (You're everything I hope for, everything I need)

And I Love Her -- Beatles

Your Song -- Elton John

You Are the Sunshine of My Life -- Stevie Wonder

My Love -- Paul McCartney (Don't ever ask me why, I never say goodbye to my love. It's understood.)

Maybe I'm Amazed -- Paul McCartney

Lean on Me -- Bill Withers (Lean on me, when you're not strong. And I'll be your strength, I'll help you carry on.)

Baby I Love Your Way -- Peter Frampton

Another Jim Croce song - Dreaming Again. Lost love but beautiful
I've Just Seen a Face - Beatles. No romantic arrangements like say, Something, but the sweetest song ever.
Sweet Surrender - John Denver

Just a nit. Jarvis Cocker is a 90s brit-popper in Pulp.

Joe Cocker sang Up Where We Belong, and a bunch of other songs, is more 60s era, and even performed at Woodstock. His signature song is probably his cover of the Beatles' With A Little Help from My Friends.
