This might be a bit in advance but....dh and I, with dd, will be be"h be spending a couple of weeks (up to 6) in Israel this summer for a program dh recently got accepted to. we have a place to stay but this is the first time since sem that I will be living there, not visiting. has anyone ever done something similar? does anyone have any suggestion as to how to budget for something like this? I plan on taking busses since dd still needs a car seat and schlepping that around Jerusalem won't be fun! please pm me if you want.

I've been spending the past few summers in Israel with my family, ibased in Jerusalem. We have the summers off from work. Let me know any specific questions that I can help you with. What program will your husband be at and where is it?
