My kids used to say it was 'lame', but I used to give what I called an 'emergency snack bag'. My original idea was to put a magen david on the side of a bag. Sort of representing the Israeli medical response people (like red cross in US). I would put individual pkgs of snack crackers, tea bags that were individually wrapped (usually herbal), I found Bigelow brand good for that; hot chocolate pkg, etc. My thoughts were that when a teacher had a break he/she would like a little something as a snack. The kids might have thought it was 'lame', but I thought it was cute. Usually, the class mother or the school would collect money for the teachers as a tip.
