I know I am really early for this but I just can't help it... embarrassed I have been wracking my brains to come up with an idea for my ds's Purim costume. I am not doing "themes" but can't figure out in which direction to go. He is not 2 yet but he easily fills up size 3t. He has longish curly hair and could pass as an almost 3 year old due to his size.
All the "usual" 3-year-old stuff seem too mature for him I guess. Any suggestions would be helpful...

(Yes, it's me... Salut Don't want you to know my screen name LOL )

I bought this for my almost 2 year old ds. He wears a 2T but the costume is long on him so it should fit a 3T. I actually am doing a theme and bought a girly bumble bee costume for my dd but I think it's a great costume. I always look for costumes that are comfortable. Ds can just take off the hat and he should be ok wearing the outfit all day.

OP here.
My sister suggested doing a mickey mouse costume that she can help me put together. Does anyone know if the "original" Mickey is the one with the tux jacket or without? I googled Mickey Mouse and most pictures I got were without.
The real question here is: Can anyone suggest an easy way to make the jacket or somewhere I can find one cheaply?

Thanks everyone for your help

For a 2 year old with long hair -- is a pirate too "grown up" for you? My aunt bought a pirate costume for DS at a post-Halloween clearance sale, and if DS lets me, I'll even braid a few strands Jack Sparrow-style.

(DS will already be three, but we're cutting his hair on Lag Ba'Omer.)

If your son is 2 with long hair its the last year you could dress him like a girl easily and not need a hat. I dressed my 2 year old as Goldilocks (he had the perfect hair) or he could be a kallah or a mommy etc
