My son wants to be slingshot ninja. This is a ninja with slingshot.
Any ideas for Japanese MM?

I did that one year. I did it in a sushi takeout container with a bottle of sake, wasabi peanuts, sushi crackers, and ramen noodles (which are probably more Chinese than Japanese, but I was a little stuck at that point.)

I couldn't do sushi because it won't keep. I would worry about bal'tashkis.
Any other ideas?

Sounds interesting.
Where do you get sushi takeout containers? Maybe I could buy them?
I tried goggling kosher sake. I did not find little bottles. As far as the rest, where do you get these things? Are they officially packaged?

You should be able to find rice crackers or wasabi peas in kosher shops.
On non-food front, don't forget chopsticks and origami...
agree sushi wouldn't be a good idea unless you know for sure the recipiets would be home AND they will consume immediately.
