A/o have a soldier costume for me to borrow, buy, or have?

The soldier costume that I borrowed for my 1 1/2 year old is too big and I'd love for him to match his brothers but don't want to spend 20 dollars... Do you have a 24 months or 2T soldier costume for me? I'm in Brooklyn but can pay for shipping... (The 2-4 size is too big...)

can you hem the top and the sleeves and just put regular pants on him?
I find the costumes do run big. I have the 2-4 soldier costume too and my ds wore it when he was 3 and he's very tall.
