Cheap n cheerful MM ideas please!

So I know there are hundreds of threads, but as I'm too lazy to spend hours searching through them all, I thought fellow imamothers could help.

Basically I want to keep it as low cost as possible. No fancy shmancy containers or wine bottles, please. I want it to look nice, cute, elegant (don't really mind which) and theme or no theme, don't really mind. As we live in EY, I cant go to any cheap dollar stores and pick up cute containers and then think of shticky ideas (as I did in previous years) and it all seems so expensive...

Happy to bake/make homemade food...

Any ideas?

one year my "theme" was rainbow.

I made cupcakes with sprinkles. a handful of various colored jelly beans or similar candies. and a colored drink (find mondos @ the dollar store)

I put this into a cheap container... and wrapped with cellophane that had balloons on it (also cheap)

you can wrap in plain cellophane and tie with a colored (or a couple colored) ribbons.
