I give a nice thing of chocolate and grape juice wrapped up in cellaphane and put in some cash.

As a preschool teacher myself I can tell u what I and some of my coworkers would appreciate most. A simple mishloach monos with nice thank u card and maybe some cash with it. Many people put gift cards to specific stores which aren't really appreciated because most often it is not to stores we would normally shop in and then it limits us. And to counter the argument that if u give cash it will just go to pay bills.. most teachers that I know just keep a separate chesbon of cash earned as gifts and use it to buy something they are saving up for. Don't waste your money on useless gifts also. I have a full collection of serving dishes serving spoons vases. Accessories for the kitchen in every shape and form. Necklaces that aren't my style etc...while I am so grateful to every parent and appreciate their thoughtfulness most stuff are just gathering dust. When I gave my sons playgroup teacher cash this year she was so grateful for it
