Does an itouch allow apps? I'm so technologically stupid and I want something for apps other than an iphone or smartphone.

an ipod touch?

its exactly the same as an iphone except it has no phone. (but you can skype or facetime) Yes, you can download almost all the same apps as on an iphone. Apple products are very user friendly so you should be able to figure it out very easily.
