I'm still counting with a bracha, B''H. That's a big thing for me because every year I mess up. My husband has been reminding me PLUS I downloaded a (free) sefirah app called Rebyid that emails me a reminder every night.

Still going! Combo of phone app on weekdays and dh putting a reminder out at the seuda on shabbos and yomtov. Last year was my first completing sefira with a bracha, hopefully I can do it again...

We are also trying to incorporate some learning together on Fri night and Shabbos day to make this a more spiritual counting, which is adding a lot to my sefira experience this year :-)

I am thanks to dh. previous years I got reminders texted to me, but it didnt happen this year.
dh has a trick he learnt from his uncle. when he says sefira at shul he turns his watch upside down and that reminds him to remind me. only after I say it does he turn it right. this helps for shabbos too.

Besides for doing it at night, I count again by day without a bracha (my husbands idea). This way if I accidentally skip a night - BH, hasn't happened yet this year - I am in the habit of counting during the day so I don't lose my Bracha the following night.

We both use the same smartphone siddur app which reminds us on weekdays and includes the count. Anyone not going to shul on Friday night puts a sefira calendar on his/her pillow. So far so good.

I'm still counting (with a bracha!), but I haven't been so good about bumping this thread every night. You should all feel free to do so.

Thanks for this post, which just reminded me! (I haven't signed up for phone or computer reminders because I get enough spam already!)
