I would wait till they ask for it. why cause unnecasary pain even for a second if its not needed yet

we're waiting for our daughter to ask for them. whenever we tell that to our siblings they wisper to her "say you want earrings", so of course she does 
we decided that doesn't count.

I got mine pierced when I was five. I pierced my daughters at 3 1/2 weeks.
