Hi, I am an full time OT working for the DOE in a public school, does anyone know how I can still work for the DOE but work full time in a jewish school?

BUMP- DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW I CAN WORK IN A JEWISH SCHOOL INSTEAD OF A PUBLIC SCHOOL. I AM A DOE EMPLOYEE BUT I HATE THE PUBLIC SCHOOLS!!!

Around here the Jewish schools don't have on-site therapists. Just the public schools do.

I think agencies like Omni and yeled vyalda, there's one in Williamsburg too, send OTs to schools. However you cannot be employed by DOE and an agency, I think it's a conflict of interest. If u are able to switch call those agencies, see your options. If u still need to work for doe (due to scholarship, or whatever) then wait it out till time is done, or see if you can be placed in a different location until then.

Our MO school in a different borough than Clarissa has OT and SLT at the school more or less full time. They are contracted through an agency and paid by the DOE pursuant to our IEP.

I want the insurance from the doe so I don't want to switch to an agency. is there a way to work in jewish schools without switching?
